    CanadaHelps is a registered charity and public foundation which operates, through which anyone can donate to any registered Canadian charity online.

  • How do I donate?
    All the donor has to do is click the ‘Donate Now’ button and follow the simple instructions. You will be asked to enter your name and mailing information, your email address, some directional details about the donation you are making and your credit card information. All information entered is strictly confidential.

  • How is the donor information used?
    Once a donation is made, the donor information (less credit card information) is available only to the NTCI Foundation, unless anonymity is requested on the donation form. does not sell or trade donor information.

  • How do I get a tax receipt?
    The Canadian Customs and Revenue Agency has approved the use of electronic tax receipts. Within minutes of making a donation, you will receive an electronic tax receipt mailed to the email address you provided in the donation process. You can save and print this receipt at any time to use for income tax purposes. Because is a charity (Charitable Business Number 896568417RR0001), you will be receipted for your donation by Once the donation is processed, the funds are directed to the NTCI Foundation bank account.

  • Can donors make an anonymous donation?
    Yes. All that is required is that the donor checks the appropriate box when prompted and anonymity is guaranteed.

  • Does charge the NTCI Foundation for its services?
    A 3.9% transaction fee is deducted from every donation to cover all credit card merchant fees, transaction fees, banking costs, receipting, reconciliation and disbursement.
