Updates

"An update is a software file that contains fixes for problems found by other users or the software developer." (3).
Updates patch kernel exploits and any software malfunctioning which can stop previously operating malware.
Updates are pushed often from to operating systems and other software. Older programs usually see
very little to no updates at all. To stay safe always update your software and download newer updated programs
if a program has stopped receiving maintenance (3).
