What is an AntiVirus Software?
"Antivirus software is a class of program designed to prevent, detect and remove malware infections on individual
computing devices, networks and IT systems." (2). Antiviruses are programs that protect any device from malware and/or deemed
untrusted connections. For example, some popular antivirus software you may be running right now is, McAfee, Norton, Avast or WebRoot.
Most antivirus software is made for windows however, some are made for macOS but it is way less common (2).
