Salt and Light is a vibrant Christian community (which includes representation from all major denominations: Orthodox, Catholic, and Protestant (Evangelical, Salvation Army, Gospel, etc.) that gathers weekly in Room 224. We are also privileged to have many non-Christians join us each week. Pizza lunch is served and students are given an opportunity to explore their faith through Scripture study, guest speakers, and student leaders. A newly installed student executive will provide leadership to the group. Students also have opportunities to volunteer in the community and participate in community events. A popular destination for our group is the Yonge Street Mission where we have served warm meals to underprivileged students and adults in Toronto. S&L also works alongside Student Council for the CHUM annual Christmas Wish toy drive.
