After graduating from NT, Janet moved to Italy, where she completed her undergrad before pursuing an MBA from Boston University in Rome. A trip to Toronto for a friend\u2019s wedding led to an opportunity to go into the restaurant business and move back to TO. Trattoria Nervosa, which opened in 1996 in Yorkville, was the result. Today, Janet is the sole owner and visionary behind Gusto 54 Global Restaurant Group and is a Top Chef Canada resident judge. An article about Janet and her most recent restaurant, Felix Trattoria in Los Angeles, was recently featured in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thestar.com\/entertainment\/television\/2018\/04\/03\/i-brought-everything-that-i-do-in-toronto-to-la-top-chef-canadas-janet-zuccarini-on-feeding-frances-mcdormand-leo-dicaprio.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Toronto Star (April 5, 2018)<\/a>. The restaurant\u2014a favourite of L.A.\u2019s celebrity set\u2014has also been lauded as Esquire\u2019s \u201c#1 Best New Restaurant in America&#8221; and Eater LA\u2019s \u201cRestaurant of the Year.\u201d Despite branching out, Janet still calls Toronto home.
