We thought you might like\u00a0to hear from Siobhan Kidd and Riley Scanlan.<\/em><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><strong>A Day in the Life of an NT Student<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Subway doors open, it\u2019s time to get off,<\/div>\n<div>You\u2019ll work hard and play hard, to quote Gorenkoff.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>You walk up the street, and pick up a green tea.<\/div>\n<div>You thank the barista, and skip off with glee.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Approaching NT, Dan welcomes you in,<\/div>\n<div>He gives you a high five and a great big grin.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>You enter home form and you hear Hot Air play,<\/div>\n<div>Your day has begun in a wonderful way.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>O Canada blares as you look \u2019round the room;<\/div>\n<div>You smile as your friendships are starting to bloom.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>First period begins, the teacher presents<\/div>\n<div>A lesson about a historical event.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>An hour has passed and you start to pack;<\/div>\n<div>You walk down the hall and say hi to prez Jack.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>This period is spare, so you look for your friend;<\/div>\n<div>You\u2019ll go to the library and plan your weekend.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Lunchtime arrives, intramurals calls your name,<\/div>\n<div>You grab a couple friends and start a dodgeball game.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>It\u2019s almost 3:15, the day has flown by;<\/div>\n<div>Now you\u2019ve got choir, time to sing low and high.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>You finally get home, what a long day you\u2019ve had\u2014<\/div>\n<div>No homework tonight, oh boy aren\u2019t you glad?<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Another day down, you get ready for bed<\/div>\n<div>You\u2019ve worked hard and played hard, just as he said.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is the fourth consecutive school year in which the\u00a0foundation has had the benefit of direct input from current NT students. our student reps enliven our meetings\u00a0with their perspective and help us keep the purpose of\u00a0our endeavours fresh and real.
