Answer #1
Hackers can get access over computers using many different techniques, but the most common and easiest at the moment is prompting others to
download malicious software. Computer hackers all over the world have
many different deceiving softwares or internet links that can do a
variety of different things to your computer without you actually
knowing it, for example you may download what you thought was a
harmless game, but is really a software that is locking you out
of your own computer! In most common, everyday cases,
the hackers deceive the person whose computer they are attempting
to hijack / hack into, by somehow prompting them, whether it be
on the phone or online, into downloading a file that is often
programmed to give the hacker remote access to the victim's
computer. This file/program in most cases, once on the
computer, is basically like a hard to remove infection.
It quickly makes its way throughout the computer, doing
what it was programmed to do, which obviously would not
be a good thing for the owner of the computer considering
the fact that they have no control over what the file/program
was programmed to do. It could even manage damage the computer
physically by running many extensive programs causing the CPU
or GPU to overheat.
Answer #2
In reality, anyone is vulnerable to these hackers, which is
why the correct and proper safeguards are crucial. Most people don't actually
pay much attention to these things, which is why their computers aren't actually all
that safe, however if you do follow all these simple steps every now and then,
you should be fairly safe from viruses and malicious softwares. The 6 steps you
should do are; Scan for malware, use a firewall, educate yourself (this website
helps), stay up to date, secure your home net work and mobile connection, back up all
your important documents/folders. Overall, the average computer isn't that safe
because most people don't bother doing these little things, but making your computer
much safer can be as easy as copy and pasting some of your files onto a hard drive,
or clicking the download button on a trustworthy anti-virus program.
Answer #3
There are many unethical uses for computers, which can mostly be defined
by this one sentence; The use of computers to commit a morally wrong act, and/or a crime.
These unethical uses may range from just cyber bullying someone online, to stealing
millions of dollars from a company using ransomware. As the number of things
computers can be used for increases, so does the number of negative uses it can
be used for.
