This year’s Charity Week at NTCI raised $40,000 –the biggest fundraising effort EVER at our school!

The cheque was presented to David Batstone, director of Not For Sale, by our senior and junior vice-presidents, Yas Hariri and Nina Fainman Adelman.

David Batstone reminded us that the money would be used to build shelter for kids and youth liberated from slavery and trafficking in Ghana and Uganda. One project he was particularly excited about in Uganda was the building of a musical amphitheatre that will allow for music to unite a community torn apart by violence and trafficking. Batstone tells us no high school or university has ever raised this much for Not For Sale!
