This course aims to equip French students with the ability to carry on a short conversation and to read and write short creative and informative prose. It is based on a series of dialogues created by the NTCI Dept. of Modern Languages and Classics, which tell the story of a class in Toronto and a class in Benin that plan and carry out an exchange over the course of an academic year. New grammar and vocabulary are introduced through the medium of these dialogues. Students express their learning through creative projects such as comics and films.
