There are only two things that are certain in life: death and taxes. DECA can help you with the second. The club DECA is a financial exploration that will prepare students for DECA competitions. There is a meeting every Tuesday during lunch to practice performance skills and critical thinking through real life business problems. Although the club is especially helpful for students who are planning on going into business, the skills learned are applicable to anyone who has money and wants to know how to manage it wisely. Whether you are going into business, medicine, or hairdressing, at some point in your life, you will have to make financial decisions. The DECA club will provide you with communication skills, problem solving skills, and financial skills. As famous economist Bob once stated, “In Capitalism, everyone is a businessman”
