Stage crew is a group of individuals who are responsible for ultimately anything/everything that goes on in the North Toronto C. I. auditorium. This includes audio, video, sets, lighting, risers for music, curtains, video screens, the school crest, etc. etc. etc. Stage crew volunteers their time to put together shows, assemblies, concerts, such as Fashion Show, Maytime Melodies, NT Idol, Battle of the Bands, Commencement and many more events. They devote many hours of hard work and patience to learn skills that are passed down through generation after generation of stage crew members to keep unique traditions going. Stage crew is composed of distinctive individuals who love what they do as a team.

The oldest graffiti in the auditorium is on a vent 10 m above the stage. It was written in 1972 by a man named "Steve", and it is by no means the oldest Stage Crew record. This random Graffiti shows what makes the crew so special. The Stage Crew is more than 30 years old (and has used mostly the same equipment for that time) and the essence of the Stage Crew will never change. We are the willing, led by the knowing, who do the impossible for the ungrateful. We have done so much with so little for long that we are now qualified to do anything with nothing. Oh, and the inscription written on that vent 30 odd years ago? "We pass this way but once."
