NT student wins International Children’s Peace Prize for environmental activism

North Toronto CI student Kehkashan Basu is the winner of the 2016 International Children’s Peace Prize. The 16 year old was presented with the award earlier this month by 2006 Nobel Peace Prize winner Muhammad Yunus.

Dear Staff, Students and Parents and/or Guardians at North Toronto Collegiate Institute:

On behalf of the Toronto District School Board, we wish to inform you that on Wednesday, December 14, 2016, the Board approved a series of Principal/Vice principal promotions and transfers.  These promotions and transfers will result in administrative changes for your school.

At that Board meeting, it was announced that Joel Gorenkoff will be transferred from North Toronto Collegiate Institute to Lawrence Park Collegiate Institute as Principal.  This transfer will take place effective February 2, 2017.Continue reading

NTea

The art council is selling sachets of loose leaf tea every day at lunch for $5. The tea comes in a variety of flavours such as pumpkin spice, chocolate, and tropical fruit tea. The sales run from Dec 8 to Dec 22 or whenever the tea runs out.
